Trip Overview
This 4 day Jordan tour is the short version of Jordan for travellers with limited time or adding Jordan to an Egypt trip. In four days you see Jordan’s three essentials: Petra, Wadi Rum and the Dead Sea.
You drive south along the King’s Highway with stops at Madaba and Mount Nebo, spend a full day in Petra and sleep at a Bedouin camp in Wadi Rum. On the last day you float in the Dead Sea before your flight. For Jerash and northern Jordan, choose our 5-day Jordan tour instead. Buy the Jordan Pass before you fly; it covers the visa and Petra entry on this 4 day Jordan tour.
Combine it with: our 8-day Egypt and Jordan tour, Mount Sinai sunrise hike and 4-day Dahab and Saint Catherine trip. Or browse all our Jordan tours.

FAQ
Can I start from Aqaba instead of Amman?
Yes. Guests coming from Sinai or Sharm El Sheikh can start in Aqaba; we reverse the route and finish in Amman.
Is the Jordan Pass worth it?
Yes, for this trip. It covers the visa and Petra entry, and it costs less than paying for both on arrival.
Can I see Petra by Night?
Yes. It runs on set evenings; we add it if your Petra night falls on one of those days.
Is this tour private?
Yes. You have your own car and driver for the whole trip and a private guide inside Petra.
