Trip Overview
Two of the world’s great ancient sites in one week: the Pyramids of Giza and the rose-red city of Petra. This 8-day Egypt and Jordan tour starts with three days in Cairo, then a short flight takes you to Amman for Jordan’s highlights.
In Jordan you follow the King’s Highway south via Madaba and Mount Nebo, spend a full day in Petra and sleep in a Bedouin camp in Wadi Rum. The last afternoon is for floating in the Dead Sea. You have a private guide and car in both countries, and our Cairo team looks after you from arrival to departure. Before you go, buy the Jordan Pass; it covers your visa and Petra entry on this Egypt and Jordan tour.
Combine it with: our Luxor hot air balloon ride, 4-day Aswan to Luxor Nile cruise and Cairo Nile dinner cruise. Or browse all our Jordan tours.
