Absolutely! This is a comfortable safari experience. We provide private A/C transportation from Cairo to Bahariya and professional 4×4 Land Cruisers for the desert exploration. No previous camping experience is required.
On your Bahariya Oasis and White Desert tour, we provide authentic Egyptian meals. This includes a traditional lunch at a local oasis village, a campfire BBQ dinner (with vegetarian options upon request), and breakfast at the campsite. Bottled water is provided throughout the trip.
Daytime temperatures can be warm, so light clothing is best. However, desert nights can be cold, especially in winter. We recommend bringing warm layers, a jacket, and a beanie. While we provide all camping equipment (tents and sleeping bags), feel free to bring your own travel pillow for extra comfort.
No need to bring any camping gear. We provide all the essentials, including tents, sleeping bags, and other necessary equipment to ensure a comfortable stay at the campsite.
Facilities in the desert are basic. We use natural ‘open-air’ restrooms while camping to maintain the “Leave No Trace” environmental policy. We recommend bringing wet wipes and hand sanitizer for your convenience during the Bahariya Oasis and White Desert tour.
Camping in the desert is safe, and our team takes all necessary precautions. Our guides are experienced, and the camp is set up in designated safe areas.
Our guides are trained in basic first aid and carry communication devices. For any emergencies, there are protocols in place, and nearby towns have medical facilities.
Cell phone service can be very limited or nonexistent in certain areas of the White and Black Deserts. It’s best to inform loved ones of limited communication while on this trip.
