This 7-night Nile cruise from Luxor sails to Aswan and back, so you see every temple on the river without rushing and finish where you started, with no one-way flight to arrange. You have two full days in Aswan, time for Abu Simbel, and quiet days on deck as the ship sails between the sites.

Itinerary
Day 1Board your ship in Luxor
Transfer to the ship and check in by lunchtime. In the afternoon, visit Karnak Temple and Luxor Temple with your guide. Overnight on board in Luxor.
Day 2Luxor West Bank and sail south
Visit the Valley of the Kings, the Temple of Hatshepsut and the Colossi of Memnon, then sail through the Esna lock towards Edfu.
Day 3Edfu and Kom Ombo
Visit the Temple of Horus at Edfu, then sail to Kom Ombo and see its double temple before continuing to Aswan.
Day 4Aswan
Visit the High Dam, the Unfinished Obelisk and Philae Temple, reached by motorboat. Free afternoon for a felucca sail or the Nubian village.
Day 5Free day in Aswan
Join an early trip to Abu Simbel (optional) or relax on board while the ship stays moored in Aswan.
Day 6Sail north
A slow day on the river as the ship sails back past Kom Ombo and Edfu and through the Esna lock. Time to rest on the sun deck.
Day 7Luxor
Arrive back in Luxor. The day is free for a hot air balloon ride, a trip to Dendera Temple or shopping in Luxor (optional).
Day 8Disembark in Luxor
Breakfast on board, then check out and transfer to Luxor airport, the train station or your hotel.
